This simple margarita combines the sweet, juicy flavors of watermelon and ripe mango with zesty lime, a touch of sugar, and tequila for a tropical, slushy drink that’s as pretty as it is delicious. Serve it chilled with a salted rim or plain — either way it’s a crowd-pleaser that evokes island vibes and instant refreshment.

How to make Watermelon Mango Margaritas:

The cocktail is easy: blend fresh watermelon, mango, lime juice, sugar, tequila, and triple sec with ice until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish as you like. The recipe yields a fruity, frosty margarita that’s ideal for backyard gatherings, poolside lounging, or any warm-weather occasion.

Helpful tip: How to cut a mango

To remove mango flesh cleanly, slice off the two broad cheeks on either side of the large seed, score a grid into each cheek, then push the skin outward to expose the mango cubes and cut them away. If you prefer, frozen mango chunks work well too — use about 1 3/4 cups frozen mango in place of fresh.

Garnishing ideas

Garnish each glass with a wedge of watermelon or lime. For a fun presentation, use a melon baller to add a few small watermelon spheres on top of each margarita, as shown in the photos.
