Ingredients
- 3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/3 cups French Fried Onions
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 2-quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.

In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes with sour cream, milk, and garlic powder until smooth and well blended.

Spoon half of the potato mixture into the prepared casserole. Sprinkle with 2/3 cup French fried onions and 1/2 cup shredded cheddar.

Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Remove, spread the remaining potatoes over the top, then add the remaining 2/3 cup onions and 1/2 cup cheese. Bake 5 more minutes or until the onions are golden and the cheese is melted.
