Creamy and Spicy Sauce — Perfect for Gnocchi, Polenta, or Pasta
Gnocchi are little pillows that cradle sauces, and this one brings bright, bold flavors: creamy, slightly spicy, herb-scented, with roasted red peppers for freshness. To give the sauce depth I use Amore Brand sun-dried tomato paste and chili pepper paste along with ready-to-eat grilled peppers. Those ready-to-eat vegetables, including sun-dried Tuscan tomatoes, add a garden-fresh character that lifts the sauce.
Italian cooking embraces sweet, savory, and spicy notes. A touch of heat is common in many beloved dishes; Amore’s chili pepper paste — made from Puglia peppers, olive oil, and salt — provides a pure chili flavor that adds warmth and a little kick. The herb-infused grilled peppers bring color and brightness, and together these ingredients create a sauce that tastes special and authentic.
Easy Weeknight Meal
With just a splash of cream, grated Parmigiano, and fresh basil the sauce comes together in under 10 minutes. It works beautifully over gnocchi, any dry pasta, or spooned over soft polenta for a comforting weeknight dinner. Follow a simple gnocchi or polenta recipe, toss with the warm sauce, and finish with fresh Parmigiano. A small amount of care and quality ingredients goes a long way — share it with friends and family for an effortless, delicious meal.
